Which Curtains Should You Buy?

You may have ready made curtains, though there is a choice of having them custom made. Ready made curtains are more convenient because they offer the ease of being used by simply hanging them from a track rail or a pole with little effort and they are generally provided with a lining, while some come along with accessories that go to include matching tie-backs and cushion covers to provide a completely coordinated look. It’s a wonderful things for all who need discount drapes.

They are made to suit the  most common sizes of window treatments and are available in widths of 44, 46, 54 and 90 inches.  You get them in varying drop lengths of 54, 72, or 90 inches that suits most of the window treatments.

Curtains with eyelets are just attached to the pole or rail by using eyelets and need no hooks. This makes them very easy to remove for laundering, as there are no fussy or awkward little fittings to have to get rid of before you either wash or dry-clean your curtains. They’re much like linen drapes. The distance between the eyelets determines the natural drape as they fall and some people who prefer not to have the curtains completely flat when they are drawn, order a broader width so that the concertina folds are still apparent even when the curtains have been pulled together though consideration must be given to the extra bulk of fabric when they are pulled back if you choose to do this.

Tab top curtains behave in much the same way as eyelet top curtains; the loop of material at the top of the curtain may be stitched to the main body of the curtain in narrow or broad bands or they may be ribbon-like tie tops for lighter weight sheer window coverings that can allow a pole to slip through. And black out drapes are affordable. Curtains with pencil pleats have a heading tape that can be drawn as tightly or as loosely as you desire for the required breadth of pleat if you need to make minor adjustments to fit your track; the tighter the tape is drawn the narrower the pleat will be. Once you secure drawstrings on the heading tape and draw the curtains closed, they will maintain the pleats.
